TYSON SHIRES
Founder, CEO
From childhood, Tyson embraced construction, honing skills alongside family. Now, as a builder, he channels values of quality and satisfaction into his own venture. Beyond construction, Tyson is a seasoned Pilot with 17 years in corporate aviation. To him, the parallels between flying and building are striking—both demand precision, navigation, and communication. With equal dedication, he ensures dreams take flight, be it in crafting homes or landing safely. Tyson’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the construction site or cockpit; it’s a cornerstone of his ethos, ensuring every project he undertakes exceeds expectations.
RANDY SHIRES
Superintendent
Randy has over five decades of experience in construction, starting as a carpenter's helper in 1968 and rising to project manager for top builders such as Ray Ellison, Sitterle Homes, and Benchmark Homes. In 1981, he co-founded Shires Custom Builders with his brother, Paul, a fellow seventh-generation Texan. Proudly carrying forward the family legacy, Randy is thrilled to collaborate with his nephew Tyson, a visionary builder who shares his father’s innate talents and passion for the trade. Together, they continue to uphold the values instilled by Paul, ensuring that every home built by Shires Custom Homes is a testament to excellence, integrity, and enduring craftsmanship

At Shires Custom Homes, Stephanie spearheads the creative vision, working hand in hand with clients to turn their dreams into reality. With her wealth of experience in design and project management, she fosters open communication and has an in depth understanding of your vision, preferences, and budget constraints. She transforms abstract ideas into tangible, bespoke designs that exceed expectations. As a native Texan with roots spanning seven generations in the Spring Branch area, Stephanie understands the importance of personalized service and attention to detail. Stephanie takes pride in delivering not only exceptional craftsmanship but also an unparalleled level of customer service.
